History

The We Can campaign started out in South Asia in 2004 and has spread around the world.

In June 2007 We Can was launched in British Columbia (Canada), which became the first region outside South Asia to implement the campaign. We Can BC has quickly gown into a coalition of over 50 organizations and hundreds of individuals committed to ending violence against women.

Since the beginning of the campaign in BC we have participated in numerous public events, delivered tons of workshops to various groups and organisations, and recruited hundreds Change Makers.
